How to claim

12-month hardware warranty

Diodino’s warranty provider, identified below, warrants Diodino displays purchased directly from Diodino against defects in materials, manufacture and supplied hardware components under normal use for 12 months from the date you receive the product. For preorders, the period starts on delivery, not the preorder or payment date. No paid registration is required.

Cover includes the LED matrix, controller, enclosure, stand and any power supply or cable included with your purchase. A hardware fault that prevents the product performing its described functions is covered. A claim may be made during this period, or within a reasonable time afterwards if the covered defect arose during it.

What Diodino will do

For a covered fault, Diodino will arrange an assessment and a repair or replacement without charge for parts, labour or covered shipping. If we cannot resolve it within a reasonable time, we will offer an appropriate alternative, including a refund. Where Australian Consumer Law gives you a choice of remedy, that choice takes priority over this voluntary warranty.

A replacement supplied under this warranty is covered for the remainder of the original 12 months or six months after delivery of the replacement, whichever is longer. This does not limit statutory rights relating to a repaired or replacement product.

Damage outside this voluntary cover

This warranty does not cover a fault to the extent it was caused by accidental damage, liquid ingress, misuse, use of an unsuitable power supply, or a modification or repair that caused the fault. Ordinary wear that does not affect operation is not a manufacturing defect. Opening or modifying the product does not automatically cancel cover for unrelated defects or your statutory rights.

Third-party equipment and external internet or service outages are not themselves hardware defects. This distinction does not exclude rights concerning the product’s advertised functions, software or services, or its fitness for purpose. Tell us if your display does not work as described.

30-day change-of-mind returns

If you bought directly from Diodino, you may request a change-of-mind return within 30 days after delivery. You may open the packaging and reasonably try the display. Return it clean, undamaged and with its included accessories. Retain the original packaging where possible, or use equivalent protective packaging; original packaging is not required for a faulty-product claim.

Contact us within the 30 days. We will give you return instructions; send the product within 14 days of receiving them, or contact us if you need more time. For a change-of-mind return, you pay return postage. There is no restocking fee and no deduction for the free standard delivery originally provided.

After receiving and checking the return, we will refund the product price to the original payment method within seven business days. Bank processing may take longer. This voluntary change-of-mind process does not restrict remedies for faulty goods or other Australian Consumer Law claims, which do not have a 30-day limit.

If the product was received damaged or faulty, use the fault-claim process below rather than paying change-of-mind return postage.

How to claim

  1. Email is the best way to contact the warranty provider. You can also use the telephone or postal details below. Explain the problem and provide reasonable proof of purchase, such as an order number, receipt or bank record. Photos or a short video can help but are not mandatory.
  2. We will acknowledge your request within two business days and, where suitable, help with safe troubleshooting. You do not need to dismantle the display. If it is damaged or overheating, disconnect power.
  3. If assessment or return is necessary, we will supply instructions and, for a suspected covered fault, a prepaid return label or arrange collection where appropriate. Keep postage receipts if we ask you to arrange shipping.
  4. We will explain the assessment and next steps, with an estimated resolution time. If we need longer, we will keep you informed; our obligations to resolve issues within a reasonable time remain.

Postage and expenses

Diodino pays reasonable return and redelivery costs for faults covered by this warranty and reimburses reasonable postage you incurred for a confirmed fault covered by Australian Consumer Law. Email or post proof of those expenses to the provider; reimbursement will be arranged within seven business days after approval.

If assessment finds damage outside the voluntary cover and no statutory remedy applies, we will explain why and obtain your agreement before any paid repair or additional return-shipping charge. We do not impose automatic assessment fees.

Your Australian Consumer Law rights

This warranty provides benefits in addition to your other rights and remedies under law. It does not exclude, restrict or modify Australian Consumer Law guarantees. Those rights can continue after the voluntary warranty expires. For a major product failure, you may choose a replacement or refund; other remedies and compensation may also apply.

Mandatory notice for goods

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If separate paid services are supplied with the product, their applicable statutory rights remain and the warranty documentation must also include the relevant mandatory services notice. This document covers the hardware goods.
